Literacy Night
Springfield Elementary students enjoyed playing musical instruments to celebrate Literacy Night.
Dear Family Members:
I would like to thank everyone who attended Springfield Elementary’s Literacy Night. The students had a wonderful time playing musical instruments and were so excited to receive their free book. For those of you who were unable to attend Literacy Night, I placed your free book in your Take Home folder this past Wednesday.
The week we return from Thanksgiving Holidays, we will be at the end of our Reading Theme "Friends Together". I will be assessing the following skills: Blending & Rhyme/-at Family Words/Hh,Vv,Cc/and two new High Frequency Words: a, to.
****Keep studying those High Frequency Flashcards!!! We will continue to add new words and families. Study -at family words and /a/ /to/ . . . SO DON’T FALL BEHIND!!!!!! They should know how to read their color words by now.
Our Thanksgiving Mini Celebration was very nice. Thank you for all your donations for our edible cornucopias. The students enjoyed them----YUMMY!
