FAMILY UNIT ACTIVITIES FUN
Dear Family Members:
We have just completed our 2nd week in our Reading Theme "We’re A Family". The students have enjoyed many activities with this unit. We made Popscicle Stick Puppets to Retell the story "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". We created our own home on a small hamburgar box and planted grass seed to make the front yard. We watered the grass seed and monitoring the growth. Then we are going "cut" our own "front yard" with our scissors!!
Also, Our celebration for the end of "Bb" week was GREAT! I loved meeting everyone’s "Bear" friend. Thanks for sending those Bears!
Our two new High Frequency Words for this unit is: my/like. Keep practicing those High Frequency Word Flash Cards!!!
Also, the students enjoyed special Holiday crafts and songs. We made scarecrows and learned the "Purple People Eater" dance. Ask your child to demonstrate :-)
The student’s are LEARNING SO MUCH THIS YEAR. It is my hope to try to make LEARNING FUN for the students!!
