Dear Family Members:

In our "Friends Together" unit, we will be working on the following skills: Make sure you go over their -at family words and their two New High Frequency words : /a/ /to/. Also, Practice recognizing the letter Hh/Vv/Cc and their sounds. I will be assessing these at the end of this three week unit.

The students enjoyed selecting one of their friends to be their "Best Friend". They made paper dolls of themselves using fabric for their clothes and connected their hands with their friends doll and we made Friendship bracelets.

During this unit we will talk about how the Pilgrims and the Indians, through Friendship, enjoyed their First Thanksgiving Dinner together and how that tradition has carried on even today.

In Math, we are working number 5 to 10.
