Hi Second Grade Families,

It is such a great honor to teach your children. I learn so much about every family, so I want you to be able to learn something about me. I grew up in Denham Springs and attended Livingston Parish Schools my entire school career. I still live there now with my husband, Troy and my Chihuahua, Lilie Belle.

I went to college at Southeastern Louisiana University where I graduated in May 2004 with my major in Elementary Education. I have known since I was in elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher. So, now that I am, I have my dream job. I have only taught second grade and I know this is where I am meant to be. I love everything about the grade.

Troy and I got married in June of 2006. We love to watch LSU sports, especially football. Of course, watching sports is not my only favorite hobby….shopping is! I look forward to the weekends where I can spend my whole Saturday at the mall.

Well, now that you know a little bit about me I am going to assure you that my heart and soul is in my work. I love coming to school everyday to see the smiling faces that tell me they want to learn everything I can teach them. Each and every student in my class is a blessing to me and I hold them in my heart. I know we will have an awesome year. If you ever need anything, please feel free to ask!
